Retreats

Each retreat is an invitation to pause, listen to yourself, and discover what your body needs.

Sayulita, Nayarit

A retreat in the jungle overlooking the ocean

A view of a beach with seven people looking out at the ocean, surrounded by large and small rocks under a clear sky with a few clouds

Eight days at a yoga resort surrounded by jungle and ocean. A group of women underwent a profound process of reconnection through yoga, meditation, mindful breathing, and somatic exercises, using a trauma-informed approach.

A place of support, rest, and transformation.

Retreat in a volcanic crater

Laguna Volcano, Nayarit

People exercising on a platform near a lake surrounded by mountains and trees, with a partly cloudy sky and the sun visible.

In an ancient volcanic crater that has become a lagoon, we offered yoga, meditation, breathing exercises, and somatic movements with a trauma-informed approach. The natural setting—swimming in the lagoon, kayaking, and silent contemplation—was part of the healing process.

A deep reconnection with oneself and with nature.

Trauma-Informed Yoga in Prisons

In collaboration with La Cana

A group of people taking an outdoor yoga class on a court, with a mural of birds and vibrant colors on the wall in the background, and buildings in the upper part of the frame.

I led Trauma-Informed Yoga sessions for women at the Ciudad Neza prison and online for participants under house arrest.

La Cana is a social project that creates job opportunities for women in prison through personal development, job training, and reintegration programs, with the goal of reducing recidivism.

Bringing these practices to the places where they are needed most is part of Chiti's mission.
